2016 International Jeunes Chef Competition

The 40th edition of the International Jeunes Chef Competition was held in Manchester, Great Britain featuring 24 Young Chefs from around the world.  New Zealand representative William Mordido won the Silver Medal.  William had worked for and trained under the guidance of Roberto Manuel from Chiko’s Restaurant and Café in Henderson. David Tetrault advised that ‘William Mordido was an outstanding competitor at the competition.  He was professional, organized, courteous and portrayed all the personal attributes we like to see in our competitors.’
